ZEAL & ARDOR.

Zeal & Ardor is an experimental metal project created by Swiss-American musician Manuel Gagneux. Originating in Basel, the project combines black metal with spirituals, blues, gospel and other musical traditions. Beginning as a solo experiment before developing into a live band, Zeal & Ardor gained international recognition for an unconventional sound explored across releases including Devil Is Fine, Stranger Fruit and GREIF.
